Old City

As a true taste of history, Old City is a prime location to take a step into our past. Located in the place where William Penn and the Quakers first settled, the neighborhood spans north to south from Vine Street to Walnut Street and east to west from 7th Street to the Delaware River. Filled with historic attractions, quaint boutiques, delectable restaurants, and more art galleries than you can count, Old City is the home for anyone looking to settle down in an established, classic neighborhood.

From old fashioned taverns to classy sit-down eateries, Old City has a plethora of famous bars and restaurants. If you are in the happy hour mood, stop by 2nd Story Brewing Company, Bleu Martini, or Drinkers Tavern for a cocktail or two and their great selection of brews. It's not all about the taverns though, Amada, Buddakan, and The Continental are known for their top of the charts service and impeccable food.

How many opportunities do you get to see where you came from? Old City gives people the chance to visit the real places that were milestones in the history of America. Home to the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Betsy Ross's house, and a copious amount of others, you can visit, and the best part is, they're all right outside your door. Of course, don't overlook the museums either, The Benjamin Franklin Museum and the most recent Museum of the American Revolution are hot spots for tourists and residents.

Possibly one of the most popular areas in Philadelphia, Spruce Street Harbor has food, activities, a breathtaking view, and of course, the colorful hammocks. Up against the Delaware River, Spruce Street Harbor is an urban beachfront that never fails to entertain. Food trucks line the boardwalk, and hammocks and lounge chairs allow a comfortable place for people to enjoy themselves. A perfect view of the water makes the trip even more worthwhile, you can even take a ride in a giant swan paddle boat if you're feeling up to the challenge. People come from all over the city to eat, drink and have a good time at the famous park.

Calm, cool, and collected, what more could a person want? Old City may be an ideal place for tourists, but that doesn't mean it strays from its mellow atmosphere. Far enough away to not get caught up in the center city traffic, or construction, the neighborhood is a serene place with a classical touch. People love the traditional neighborhood feeling the area incorporates. With brick row-homes and brownstone houses, paired with always having something to do, Old City is nothing short of charming and welcoming.
