Happy Spring! There is nothing better than seeing the city slowing come back to life after a long cold winter. When the sun starts shining and the weather gets warmer, all we want to do is be out and about exploring the city. You know it’s spring when MLB returns! Get tickets to a game and enjoy a great day or night under the lights at South Philly’s Citizens Bank Park. Head to this website to get your tickets.

 

Spring Blooms at Longwood Gardens

Goes through May 1, 2022

In the springtime, Longwood Gardens is filled with fields of tulips, wisteria, azaleas, flowering trees and so much more. Beginning April 32, the Open Air Theatre and Italian Water Garden fountains spring to life along with their other fountains. This is the pinnacle of peace, tranquility, beauty and spring.

Their Festival of Fountains begins on May 5 and goes through September 25, 2022.

 

Rothman Orthopaedics Roller Rink at Dilworth Park

April 22 - July 17, 2022


It’s time to get back out on the rink! the Rothman Orthopaedics Roller Rink at Dilworth Park is a colorful, retro-inspired rink with a black and white checkerboard floor mixed with bright colors brings old-school cool to historic City Hall. There’s also lots of food and drinks at the Air Grille pop up beer garden.

The Philadelphia Show at the Philadelphia Museum of Art

April 29 - May 1, 2022

The Philadelphia Show is celebrating 60 years of antiques, art and design. Founded in 1962 as the University Hospital Antiques Show and was organized by Penn Medicine until 2018. Then the Philadephia Museum of Art took over the responsibility. The show features 40 outstanding exhibitors in the U.S. specializing in fine art, collectible design and antiques.

 

Blue Cross Broad Street Run

Sunday, May 1, 2022 from 11 am to 5 pm

The Blue Cross Broad Street Run is a 10 mile race where participants run from North Philly all the way down to the Navy Yard in South Philly. Supporters line the street to cheer on their friends and family. Along the way runners will pass Temple University, City Hall, the Avenue of the Arts and the sports stadiums.

Chestnut Hill Home and Garden Festival

Sunday, May 1, 2022 from 11 am to 5 pm

Chestnut Hill’s Germantown Ave welcomes people to the outdoor marketplace with tons of home and garden design and supply vendors. This all day event also has entertainment for kids and live music. Come and enjoy the home and garden event in Philadelphia’s Garden District.
