Why Do We Love Fairmount?

Often coupled with "The Art Museum Area," Fairmount is one of Philadelphia's strongest housing markets. Comprising of stately brownstones and luxury high rises, the residents here are a mix of young working professionals and active adults taking advantage of the many cultural historical landmarks in the area.

Fairmount is synonymous with The Art Museum Area, and despite having so many attractions that bring in tourists from around the world, the neighborhood remains serene and relatively quiet. Many tourist sites are within walking distance, including Eastern State Penitentiary, The Barnes Foundation, and most notably, The Philadelphia Museum of Art. Visitors of the museum can explore world-famous exhibits, educational classes, performances, and the famous Rocky steps and statue. Aside from these landmarks, you'll discover a top notch restaurant scene that rarely gets the credit it deserves. Sprinkle in cool neighborhood bars, small businesses and plenty of neighborhood pets, and you have a well-rounded place to call home. If we had to describe Fairmount in three words we'd choose established, cultured and laid back.
