Stephanie Luongo Shares Her Favorites, Advice, & Info For New Residents to Philadelphia.


Meet Stephanie.

As a Philadelphia resident of 18 years, and a Drexel graduate with a degree in Business/Marketing, Stephanie is an absolute asset to the Venture Philly Group. An entrepreneur in many ways, her energy and motivation are matched by her drive to help others meet their goals!

 

What is your favorite Philadelphia neighborhood and why?

Fairmount - I've lived here for 11 years. Great little bars and restaurants with a neighborhood feel and you still get a Whole Foods. Close enough to the action but also far away enough too. Stay tuned for more information on my favorite Fairmount condos coming up on the blog!

Why did you decide you wanted to get into the real estate business?

Before I got my license I bought, renovated and sold my own places multiple times. I have a true passion for it! I also want to give a real estate experience to my buyers and sellers that I believe is hard to come by. 

 

If you were to buy an investment property in 2020 and plan on selling in 2025, which neighborhood would you target and why?

Brewerytown and get as close to Girard Ave as you can. The only place we can build at this point is outward. Brewerytown has great restaurants and you can access many other parts of the city fairly quickly.

If you were entertaining an out of town guest who has never been to Philadelphia before, what restaurant would you take them to first?

El Vez - great food and fun atmosphere. 

 
 

When you're not assisting clients with their real estate needs, what do you enjoy doing in your downtime?

Taking or teaching fitness classes at Sculpt360, which I own! I love running Sculpt and real estate so most of the time neither feel like work to me. When I'm not working, I'm working out and grabbing dinner and drinks with my friends.

 
 

One piece of advice you would give a first time home buyer before starting the process?

 No question is silly. I've heard it all! The one I hear the most is how much commission do I have to pay you - the answer is none! When I find you the home of your dreams the seller pays the commission. 

 

One thing any new resident should know before moving to Philly?

It's a great city because it combines accessibility and affordability.
