Home to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, which currently features several virtual exhibits, as well as the nearby Barnes Foundation and Rodin Museum, Fairmount is truly a fine-arts hub in Philadelphia. Fairmount Park is home to many sculptures and works of public art, and hosts annual events year-round. Supported by the Fairmount Park Conservancy, free and paid events are open to the public, offering locals a chance to relax and unwind in the beautiful green space.

Fairmount is part of the School District of Philadelphia, with K-8 at the Laura W. Waring School, and 9-12 at Benjamin Franklin High School.
